Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote and insert 2 AAA batteries with correct polarity.
  2. Power On TV: Ensure your Insignia TV is plugged in and powered on.
  3. Pair Remote: Point the remote at your TV and press the POWER button. The remote should automatically pair with most Insignia TVs.
  4. Manual Pairing (if needed): If automatic pairing fails, press and hold the TV and POWER buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds until the LED light blinks twice.
  5. Test Functions: Test volume, channel, and menu buttons to ensure proper functionality.
  6. Programming for Other Devices: To control other devices, follow the device-specific programming codes in the full manual.
Warning: Use only AAA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.
